Update

Just to let everyone know, I'll be posting the race logo and group crest when I get the chance to work some magic at the Mac labs.

For those who didn't know, the slogan for the race was finally chosen by Brittney, Brandon, and myself with the approval of a few other family members. We've settled for "Every step YOU make is every breath WE take."

The race event name is "Angels in Shoes" with the logo as a pair of pink shoes which resemble lungs, paired with angel wings and a red heart.

The crest is still being finalized, but at the moment we have four colors representing four attributes that the Donze family holds. These attributes are also what make this group function. They are as follows: red for passion, blue for teamwork, green for strength, and white for faith. The crest is in the shape of a shield. Nothing fancy. The group name we've decided to go with is "Weingarten for Better Living" or simply put WBL.

We also have a group on facebook now to draw attention for the race. The group name is the same as the race slogan and can be found on my page as well as a few other family members' pages.

Listserv

To add to this awesome blog, I was going to create a listserv for this as well. That way when you send an email you do not reply to all.... you simply send a message to donze@googlegroups.com (it will come to everyone listed below). Below is a list of emails that i have.

An Idear

I've been thinking about asking another CF patient to kinda be a guest appearance for all this. Her name is Lo, and there's actually a book out about her called The Spirit of Lo. Just an idear I've been throwing around. I can easily get in touch with her if this sounds good.

Intro

This is the blog I've set up for the fundraiser. We can post pics, ideas, and whatever else on here, as well as comment on said pics and ideas, etc. Hopefully we can rely on this more than e-mail.
